Wouldn't it be great to have a reunion! We plan to be in the UK for Easter 2009 - maybe we should try for a get together then? Should be enough time to arrange something?

12 and 19 are Christopher and Peter Stanley. Anyone have their email addresses? I have Rachel Taylors (5) email - will try and contact Rebecca (3) and Benjamin (6) through her. Watch this space....

I think Paul may have Chris' e-mail address? I'll e-mail him and let him know that you've put a note here. Easter 2009 should be enough notice for everyone!! If we had a get-together somewhere in the Wokingham area then we could do a re-shoot of the photograph 28 years after the original in the exact same place. I must be getting old because I really like that idea. Happy New Year to everyone!

Cool idea guys. That would be so weird with a now and then picture. I have not got Chris Stanleys e-mail (I know he used to have a computer but he never knew what to do with it), however, I do still see him on the odd occasion and know where he lives, works and have contact details and Peter can be contacted through him. Happy New Year to you all, all the best for 2008!

Easter 2009 sounds good, gives me over a year to lose some weight. I was in a theatre production with Emma Carver, No. 15 in Picture, recently and can get in contact with her.Bec 3 and Ben 6 are in Essex and Winchester respectively and we usually get together at Easter anyway. Yey, lets have another jubilee street party, but without the fancy dress competion and the flares!!Who is no. 4 in pic, dont remember her?

Hi Rachel, glad to see you managed to find this website! Are Bec and Ben on email? If so let them know about it too and don't forget to tell them about the reunion.

Are we still on for a re-union? It's nearly christmas then 2009! Where has the year gone? Really looking forward to meeting up with all you fellow gaters! Here's an oldie that a few of you will know, blast from the past if you like, remember that song that Joanne Kershaw wrote called "BIRDS"? I still got my guitar and whenever I see it I remember that song. Joanne, you still know the chords?

No, I don't remember the chords!!! Remember the song though - how embarrassing!! Unfortunately we won't be in the UK until Christmas '09 now so if everyone's happy to wait until then??? Might give us a bit more time to contact the missing faces?

You're right there. Funny how these memories pop up years on. I still have my Guitar gathering dust so you never know, you could see me on X-Factor one day banging out the "BIRDS" tune. Anyway shame about re-union delay but Hey these things happen. But like you say, it gives us more time to find the missing ones.

Hi Paul and Jo- Jo and I wrote the song "birds" together and I can still play it! I've played it to my girls (we have 3 guitars at home!)and they love it! Alex is wiring up his keyboards and computers in the girls old bedroom to create a music studio so we can write more groovy tunes!! Lauren and Isabella love singing so the x-factor for them soon! See you in 2009 x

Sorry Lisa, I thought Jo thought that song up. All I remember is you and Jo playing it out on the curbs. How cool is that playing it to your own children. I remember there was a G chord and a D chord in it somewhere! Anyway, bring your Guitar to the re-union for a flashbac......only kidding! Btw, great to hear from you lisa, Long, long, long time no see!

Hey Guys and Girls, Kirsten Oxborough (Former: Young) had an idea that sounded good to me. If the Re-union is still going ahead this year, why don't we all club together (£5 each family as a thought) and hire a hall so that all the SPG crew can have a trip down memory lane and their kiddies can have a great time playing. If each family brings a plate of food as well then we can party!!! What are your thought's?

That sounds great. We are definately in the UK this Christmas so let's see what we can arrange. The parish rooms at St Pauls Church in Wokingham would be a great venue and we've used them quite a few times for various get togethers. There's a kitchen there with a kettle and crockery etc. Any other suggestions anyone? Rachel, can you get your brother and sister to come on board? Anyone know of the Stanleys whereabouts? If we did have it at the Parish rooms we could wander over to St Pauls Gate and try and recreate the photo!
